Where I am

Amman,

One of the many Kenyan pastimes is to gather in groups whether at home, in a garden or in  a bar and watch football or discuss it or speculate. Either way works. Of course, they do not just sit and chatter away, there has to be a bite of sorts.
The most common delicacy is, and I say this with no offence to my vegan audience;
 an African sausage
-cow innards filled with blood and low quality meat (mutura).
Today, we went shopping-there are several beautiful malls here in Amman but the one we visited this afternoon was special because I thought I had found this piece of home.

Unfortunately, this version is not exactly what I anticipated.

Along with that, I discovered other parts of lamb that I had not thought edible and felt compelled to share .They must be a treat for some but how would I know, I am just a villager in the diaspora.
